Well, the company didn't pay me anything to write a 5 stars review about this superpad.
It is a 5 stars because:
1, It has 2 usb ports. This is helpful because you can accomplish some computer task that normally needed a computer, such as transferring photos from a memory card to a high capacity hard drive, although you need to format the hard drive to a fat32 format for it to be recognized by the pad, and another great feature about these USB ports is the ease of loading different files into the pad. I have tested so far many file format. It works flawlessly. I have read more than 500 pages from a PDF file with huge pictures, which is impossible for my cell phone's small screen to render correctly, and I have tested some video files with all different encoding and format I got in my 1TB hard drive. The pad recognizes my hard drive just like how a computer and allows me to rename, delete, move, open, edit the files using a file browsing app.
The most excited function of these 2 USB ports is probably the possibility to add an USB keyboard to it, so you can type. You can essential transform this tablet into a laptop. Another less excited but life saving function is that you can charge your USB gadgets, since the battery inside this tablet is more than 6000mah.
2, There is also a micro-SD card slot. What this will give you is obviously the possibility to expand your memory need. Unlike an apple's ipad with a fixed internal memory, you can buy those tiny and now a day cheap micro SD card, and have the pad upgraded to a high capacity up to 32GB. You can carry with you 32 HD movies (1GB per-movie), or 3200 PDF files (10Mb each), or 10000 high resolution photos in that tiny memory card. If that is not enough for you, you can alway buy more memory cards just like the way you do for your digital camera.
3, It comes with a 10 inches screen. Although not very bright and sharp, its color is beautifully vivid. The screen is essentially similar to my old dell laptop. If you watch movie half meter from it, the pictures just look great. 10 inchs is ideal for viewing PDF files with huge pictures or charts. well, it doesn't end here; There is a lot you can do with a 10 inches screen such as watching pictures of some pretty and sexy Asian girls.
4, The speed is very fast. The specification sounds great with 1Ghz CPU and 512mb ram. I have tested and proved its speed by opening a 1.4GB avi format HD video with 1280X720 resolution. The result was a nice smooth playback with no lagging, which is something I can't do with my old dell laptop that had a 1.6Ghz CPU and 768mb ram.
5, Touch screen is not super responsive but usable and is considered to me better than using a mouse. It is not a capacitive touch screen like apple's iphone and ipad. It is a resistive touch screen. What is the difference? A capacitive touch screen is more responsive that uses skin of your finger for impact; and a resistive touch screen is less responsive that uses your finger nail to point. Once you get used to them, both screens works similarly fine.
6, The price is cheap, and it is made in China. Probably will ship from China as well.
In short, it is a Great device to watch movies and to read files. It supports almost all file formats with a right app. I don't think it is great for internet browsing because there is no multi-touch and the screen is less responsive. The APPs in android market place is rated 2/5 stars by me while apps in apple's app store is 5/5 stars in comparison. You will get better apps using an ipad than this android-powered Spad because almost all apps in the android market are made for android phones.
In the laptop era, around 2002, I built a laptop using the hardware I found for desktop computers. It was not the best laptop out there and it is pretty big and heavy, but It had a 2.66Ghz Intel cpu and 1Gb of Ram. Well, this tablet is in a way similar to my old laptop. The Chinese people essentially use the hardware for a laptop to build this tablet. It works fine, but it is not really a tablet at all. In fact, It is a laptop enclosed with a compact tablet-like body without the mouse.
Here is a list of the bad things comes with this so-called 5 stars products:
1, Battery drains in standby mode. You need to turn it off the way how you should turn off a laptop in standby mode.
2, GPS has no use at all because after search days in the market place, I can't find any application that can be use for this device. GPS probably works, but I can't figure it out how to use it.
3, If you are a kid or you have a pair of good working eyes, you can count the pixel one by one if you look closer. Screen resolution is very bad compared to my macbook screen that I am typing to. I can see the pixel essentially.
4, Battery lasts about only 3-4 hours for video playback, but more than 20 hours for PDF viewing.
5, Android OS may be weird to some people. If you never play with an android before, and you are not smart, then you probably will have some hard time figuring out how to use it. When the apple's ipad came out, I saw some news about old people using an ipad easily. Well, for this tablet, even teenagers may have some hard times.
6, If you have an iphone, ipod touch or ipad and have got used to them, you probably won't like the touch screen of this superpad. The resistive touch screen is old school, less responsive and multi-touch unavailable.
7, Apps are essentially undesirable for this device, but I think I am going to write some good one for it myself. Just for now, you really don't have any good apps for this android OS supperpad tablet because almost all apps in android's app store are written for small screen phones.

++Apps:
There are more app in the android world than I have expected. Some apps come with the pad is badly written, ie, slow and very slow. There is this great place you can download apps for free. Try it!!! slideme.org
Without good applications, this tablet is boring, but with a lot of good apps, this tablet is fantastic. Now I can surf the internet USING A new browser app much faster. The old internet browser is very very slooooow in comparison.
All app with apk file format can be installed in this pad, ie. anger.bird.apk
++Battery:
Battery is actually very good. 1 hours of internet surfing and 3 hours of PDF reading only cost me 12% of the battery life. Battery life is short in movie.
++Games
I don't want and plan to play a lot of games using this pad because gaming uses too much time and battery, and the resistive touch screen and heavy weight isn't good for gaming anyway. I know this fact before I had bought this pad. I do have tried few games, and works okay but not great. In short, this pad is not for gaming.
++ More Cons
--The brightness is not bright enough outdoor; in fact, you really can't see anything on the screen at all.
--Sometimes, apps run very slow. I believe it is the problem of the apps, not the tablet itself.
--Start up time takes too long. I think it takes longer than my computer; about 1min and 30s.
--speaker is not loud enough somehow.
There are a lot more to write about this superpad, but I think I will stop here.
To me and for my own opinion only, It is great device to read some PDF, Text and ebooks on and to watch few HD movies on the road.
If a USB keyboard is available, the tablet becomes a laptop that you can do exactly what a laptop is capable in doing with the RIGHT Android App, ie, typing a long 22 pages essay.
If a wifi network is available, the tablet becomes a real computer that you can use to communicate to the world, ie, shopping in amazon.com is as fast as a laptop.

had to return this and may have to pay a restocking fee through amazon returns, the item became defective. Otherwise it was a fun gadget to learn the android system.

I had to return this item through Amazon and was charged a restocking fee of 20% The store (Plexsupply) would not return it even for warranty repair, they said I had to return it through amazon who charges a fee after 30 days. I have later found out this item is a copy of a copy not an original china made tablet. I have found a supplier in china for the the original Tablet at a lower cost.

DONT BUY!By PWEBER
1. WILL NOT DOWNLOAD ANYTHING FROM THE ANDROID MARKETPLACE.
2. AN ERROR OCCURS WHEN ONE ATTEMPTS TO UPDATE SOFTWARE.
3. BATTERY LIFE IS LESS THAN TWO HOURS.
4. WILL NOT STAY CONNECTED TO ANY WI-FI CONNECTION.
SPEND THE EXTRA MONEY AND GET ONE FROM A BOX STORE OR A CELL PHONE STORE SO IF THERE IS A PROBLEM YOU CAN GET LOCAL SERVICE!!!!!!!!
